Making yet another major shift, Brian goes into depth about DOM framework libraries. He provides a great discussion of why larger libraries that are geared for the desktop don't work well in the mobile ecosphere. He encourages you to avoid the "knee-jerk" reaction of reaching for your favorite desktop library because the mobile world has a lot better parity among browsers and far less browsers to worry about.
